Project Manager Role Overview

Delivering maritime capability is a mission-critical objective for this position. The successful candidate will have experience in Defence projects, with a strong technical background and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

This role requires professionals who can support and deliver Defence capability projects that meet technical and program requirements. Experience in waterfront or engineering-related Defence roles is essential, along with strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Key responsibilities include project management, engineering, and business development, focusing on delivering design projects and managing capability across the lifecycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a Defence maritime project environment.
  • Tertiary qualification in a STEM discipline and/or significant Defence project experience.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Defence maritime platform systems, including electrical, mechanical, communications, structural, and ship systems, as well as related support systems like infrastructure design, asset management, and maintenance planning.
