Maritime Structural Engineering Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Maritime Structural Engineer to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on large-scale multi-discipline maritime facilities for various industries.

You will apply your existing experience across different industries, gain exposure to new projects, and work with a range of disciplines.

Our focus is on clean energy projects, boating infrastructure, wharf and port development, and remediation of public assets.

This role will see you leveraging your maritime structural experience, delivering concept designs through construction phase support, with opportunities for leadership and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and evaluation of ports, harbours, coastal works, and marine structures.
  • Berthing and mooring system design.
  • Structural analysis using software such as SPACE GASS, Strand 7, and IDEAStatica.
  • Collaboration with local governments, port clients, and Defence sector stakeholders.
  • Adherence to Australian and international design codes and guidelines.
  • Guidance and mentoring skills.
  • Project management and/or design management skills.
  • Engagement with clients, pursuit of opportunities, and win-win collaboration.
  • Chartered Professional Engineer status or ability to achieve within agreed timeframe.
  • Tertiary degree qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Australian Government security clearance eligibility.
