Exciting Career Opportunity

AFL Recruitment is thrilled to partner with a highly impressive multi-award winning law firm to find talented lawyers to join their dynamic team. This forward-thinking firm is undergoing continuous exponential growth and is seeking 3 law graduates/PLT/grad lawyers to join one of their winning teams: 1) personal injury law; 2) family law; OR 3) commercial/business law.

Your New Role

You will be reporting to the Managing Associate and be the dedicated right-hand to top senior lawyers in one of their winning teams. Your responsibilities will include interacting with clients, solicitors/barristers/other external stakeholders, undertaking legal research, preparing letters/court documents, preparing briefs to barristers, diary management/making appointments, and filing/administration.

Requirements

  • You must be either a law student due to graduate in the next 1-2 years, a law graduate undertaking your PLT, or a recently admitted lawyer with minimum 12 months experience in at least one of: 1) personal injury law; 2) family law; 3) commercial law.
  • You must have a serious keen interest in pursuing a career in one of these 3 niches.
  • You must have proven ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment.
  • You must have a high work ethic, be deadline-oriented, and proactive.
  • You must have outstanding communication, time prioritization, and customer service skills.
  • You must be hungry to kick-start your career long-term with a vibrant, fast-growing, and successful law firm.
