Job Description:

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team, supporting NDIS participants in the Wollongong, Nowra & Caringbah regions. As an integral member of our team, you will work collaboratively to deliver high-quality therapeutic services, promoting independence, access, development, health, and wellbeing for our participants.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage an allocated caseload and deliver timely therapeutic services
  • Assess participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological, and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
  • Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals tailored to each participant
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to enhance quality of life and meet participant goals
  • Mentor and support early career clinicians
  • Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • A proactive attitude and interest in skill development
  • Experience in mentoring and supervising other Occupational Therapists
  • A genuine passion for working in the disability sector
