Job Title: Principal Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer to play a critical role in leading the modernisation of our core systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the technical and architectural direction, elevating engineering standards, and ensuring a seamless transition to a more secure, scalable, efficient, and agile technology stack.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead large-scale modernisation/migration projects
  • Design and implement cloud-native architecture patterns
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software
  • Collaborate with the Head of Engineering to drive innovation and experimentation
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering
  • Extensive experience with AWS cloud services and ecosystem
  • Strong understanding of modern architecture patterns
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
