Are you passionate about empowering students to reach their full potential? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Educator to join our dynamic team at our Moreton Bay Senior Campus.

The ideal candidate will possess a relevant Bachelor degree, current Queensland Teacher Registration, and a First Aid Certificate with CPR qualifications. They will also have practical experience teaching and supporting young people, as well as the ability to establish positive relationships with students.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and caring individual to make a meaningful contribution to the education and wellbeing of our students. The successful applicant will be required to deliver academic and wellbeing programs, support the delivery of vocational training programs, and participate in monitoring the effectiveness of program delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and deliver lessons in accordance with school guidelines and parameters.
  • Develop and deliver individualised lessons to meet the needs of each student.
  • Participate in monitoring the effectiveness of program delivery.
  • Respond to the needs of students, parents and/or carers, and the wider community.
  • Advocate on behalf of and for young people in community planning committees where appropriate.

Selection Criteria:
  • A relevant Bachelor degree.
  • Current Queensland Teacher Registration.
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Qualifications.
  • Practical experience teaching and supporting young people.
  • The ability to establish positive relationships with students.
  • Success working in a small team within the schools' philosophy and ethos.
