Role Overview

We're looking for a dedicated professional to spearhead our holistic approach to health and wellbeing, driving success through strategic partnerships and technical expertise.

About The Position

This role is part of a small team focused on empowering employees to prioritise their wellbeing, fostering an environment where they can thrive. As a Health and Wellbeing Specialist, you'll collaborate with the Head of Wellbeing to develop and implement programmes that support our team's health & wellbeing.

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone with extensive experience in WHS and a passion for mental health, ready to take on new challenges in a forward-thinking organisation that approaches health and wellbeing holistically.

Main Responsibilities
  • Operational management of the Canva Care Program: vendor oversight, reporting, escalation support, and day-to-day query resolution.
  • Providing technical WHS subject matter expertise in programme development and implementation, supporting our team's health and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Delivering operational WHS services: incident tracking, compliance reporting, risk assessments, and psychosocial hazard management.
  • Wellbeing activations: partnering with the Vibe team on physical wellbeing initiatives (e.g. flu jabs, skin checks, fitness classes).
  • Reporting and insights: monitoring wellbeing trends and collaborating with relevant teams to enhance our reporting capabilities.
  • Incident response: supporting acute wellbeing or psychosocial incidents in partnership with the Head of Wellbeing.
  • Training delivery: providing regular mental health training and wellbeing sessions to upskill our team members.
