About Us

Canva is a leading global platform for graphic design, digital marketing and team collaboration.

We're seeking an experienced Python Infrastructure Development Lead to join our Language Ecosystem team and drive the transition to a unified and resilient infrastructure.

What You'll Do

  • Lead collaborations with engineers across the organization to understand their requirements and jointly design platform infrastructure solutions with a strong emphasis on Python.
  • Work alongside Developer Platform product managers and leadership to define strategic priorities and roadmap for ML and Python-related initiatives within the team.
  • Proactively engage with engineers across Developer Platform by seconding into teams and collaborating on high-impact projects to uplift Python and ML expertise.
  • Drive innovation in Python and ML engineering practices and development experience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on infrastructure, automation, and DevOps.
  • Deep understanding of containerization, Terraform, GitOps principles, and cloud computing platforms.
  • Experience with ML frameworks such as pandas, NumPy, PyTorch, Ray, and TensorRT.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive technical decisions.
