About the Role:

As a Sales Consultant at Barry Plant, you will be responsible for listing, marketing, and selling properties, providing valuable insights to guide clients through the sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise sellers on enhancing property appeal and presentation.
  • Appraise property values in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Provide market analysis, mortgage guidance, and legal support to clients.
  • Interview buyers to determine property preferences and needs.
  • Generate property lists tailored to buyer requirements and financial capabilities.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge to assist clients effectively during property visits and negotiations.
  • Promote property sales through various channels, including open houses and online listings.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships through effective communication and regular updates.
  • Utilize industry knowledge to enhance brand visibility and engage with potential clients.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Motivated, resilient, and committed to achieving client satisfaction and business objectives.
  • Proficient in using industry-related software and technology, or the ability to learn and engage with these systems.

Requirements:

  • Current driver's license and access to a motor vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
  • Cert IV in Real Estate Practice, or willingness to undertake this qualification on commencement in this role.
  • Previous experience in real estate or related fields is preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of the local property market is advantageous, but not essential.
