Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team and take on a dynamic role within the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage client relationships, including retention, expansion, and diversification of services.
  • Develop and implement effective service strategies tailored to each client.
  • Negotiate agreements with clients for additional services, determining pricing, staffing, and logistics.
  • Oversee contractor relationships, including hiring, negotiating pricing and contract terms, managing agreements, developing service specifications, and ensuring compliance.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and client satisfaction through regular inspections and follow-through on commitments.
  • Supervise night managers, ensuring execution of client strategies and accurate delivery of services.
  • Promote sales of supplies, procure them, and monitor usage for clients.
  • Effectively communicate client issues with contractors and management, addressing problems promptly.
  • Utilize CRM software to perform client inspections, add extra charges, and schedule non-routine activities.
  • Schedule Outlook events for each non-routine activity in client facilities.
  • Update and maintain building information sheets, FSM summary sheets, and exhibit A's, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Notify sales executives of potential accounts in the territory, especially new construction.
  • Develop and implement a plan with management and night managers to resolve client complaints or deficiencies in service.
  • Approve pay sheets for night managers and service representatives, ensuring accuracy.
  • Assist accounting in collecting clients' past due invoices and payment invoices for contractors.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years outside B2B account management experience, building maintenance or facility management preferred but not required.
  • Track record of success in a client retention role, with measurable goals and metrics.
  • Highly detail-oriented and excellent follow-through on commitments.
  • Positive and outgoing personality, with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of CRM database.
  • Ability to travel daily to client locations locally.
