Job Title: Vegetation Waste Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Vegetation Waste Manager to lead and manage our vegetation waste and recycling facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing effective waste and recycling strategies, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and promoting sustainability within our organisation.

Active Tree Services is an Australian owned family company, providing arboriculture, vegetation management, and consultancy services across Australia. We service major cities, governments, and utility companies, keeping our environment safe and green.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial performance of operations, including forecasting, budget, and profit and loss statement.
  • Develop business opportunities and oversee day-to-day production and logistics activities.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Lead, train, and develop a team of production staff to drive productivity and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in depot management, preferably in recycling and/or waste management industry.
  • Financial acumen and ability to build business through leveraging existing and new clients.
  • Strong operational and project management skills, with ability to optimise processes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with ability to motivate and develop a team.
