This full-time role is based at Ingleside but requires occasional travel to other locations. As the specialist, you will implement effective waste and recycling strategies for vegetation debris, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and promoting sustainability within our organisation.

The ideal candidate has a background in either recycling and/or waste management, with supervisory or management experience, and a clear understanding of operational requirements such as team building, work scheduling, mobile plant & equipment maintenance, and general knowledge of recycled products.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing financial performance, including forecasting and budgeting
  • Developing business opportunities and overseeing day-to-day production and logistics activities
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Leading, training, and developing a team to drive productivity and efficiency

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in depot management, preferably in the recycling and/or waste management industry
  • Financial acumen and strong operational and project management skills
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Demonstrated knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in the recycling and waste management sector
