As a key player in our Engineering team, you will oversee the performance and outcomes of our engineering projects. You'll provide technical leadership and operational management, ensuring that engineering contributions to ground support equipment acquisitions are delivered to the highest standard. Your role will involve shaping and overseeing engineering deliverables, including authoring, reviewing, and approving technical documentation. Additionally, you will manage day-to-day resourcing, support knowledge capture through accurate documentation, and build strong relationships with stakeholders across various sectors.

Required Skills

Proven experience guiding engineering teams through complex project lifecycles, ideally within a defence or aerospace environment. A solid background in systems, mechanical, or related engineering disciplines is essential. The ability to make sound technical decisions while ensuring compliance with engineering governance and contractual obligations is crucial. Furthermore, effective communication skills are necessary to build constructive relationships with stakeholders and present technical information with clarity and influence.

Qualifications
  • Accredited (under the Washington Accord) bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Experience using applicable engineering toolsets
  • Systems engineering experience
  • Extensive experience in relatable technical/engineering roles
