As a leader in the retail industry, we're seeking an experienced professional to oversee a dynamic team at our Canberra store.

The ideal candidate will work closely with our Area Manager to drive high-performing initiatives and achieve sales targets, KPIs, and operational excellence.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an innovative leader to make a significant impact on our business. You'll be responsible for:

  • Ensuring efficient store operations to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly targets.
  • Motivating your team to achieve optimal results in KPIs and added value targets across stores.
  • Closely monitoring store sales to identify areas for improvement.
  • Effectively managing wage costs to weekly wage targets and company rostering standards.
  • Coaching and mentoring your team to maintain high morale and encourage development.
  • Ensuring efficient OH&S management and adhering to state and national legislation.

What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Retail Store Manager or Senior Assistant Store Manager in a fast-paced environment.
  • A motivated and driven attitude with a passion for leading and inspiring a team.
  • Strategic thinking skills to identify missed opportunities and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong operational and strategic skill set, including stock control and visual merchandising experience.
  • Ability to effectively manage a roster and wage control.
