Court Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Court Support Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality support services to Judges, Registrars, and their staff, as well as the general public and legal practitioners.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for carrying out a diverse range of tasks and performing various courtroom activities, including setting up courtrooms, opening and closing court, handing up documents, swearing in witnesses, operating courtroom technology, and supporting digital litigation practices.

This is a casual position, requiring the successful applicant to be available a minimum of three days per week. We offer a competitive salary package, including superannuation, plus 25% loading.

About the Role
  • Job Summary: Provide high-quality client service to legal practitioners and other court clients
  • Liaise with key stakeholders: Judges' chambers, Registrars, and Court Operations Staff
  • Operate technical equipment: video conferencing equipment and digital litigation practices
  • Assist with administrative tasks: as required
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify problems, propose solutions, and work within and across teams to achieve results. Proficiency in using relevant technical applications and technology is also highly regarded.
