Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Tradesperson to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to maintain and repair a range of fixed and portable equipment, ensuring operations run smoothly and safely.

This is a full-time position based in Avon (Northam) but may require movement throughout receival sites, including York, Greenhills, Quairading and Calingiri.

The standard shift is Monday to Friday, with an element of on-call required from time to time.

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance and repairs to bulk handling equipment, including elevators, conveyors, fixed and portable machinery
  • Diagnose and fault-find PLC-controlled equipment, which includes elevators and conveyors, trippers, and dust systems
  • Complete basic administrative tasks aligned to the maintenance function
  • Provide electrical assistance to remote receival sites in the Avon zone
  • Interpret electrical schematics and genset powered assets

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must hold a current WA Electrical Workers Licence and an unrestricted Drivers Licence. A strong safety focus and commitment to safe work practices are essential.

Desirable qualifications include Work at heights, confined spaces, EWP and forklift licence, ability to work in high grain dust concentrations, experience navigating computerised maintenance systems, current hazardous area installation certification, and SAP experience.
