About the Role:

Job Description
  • This position is accountable and responsible for supporting planning, coordination, evaluation and management of Operational Services at Ipswich Hospital.

The successful candidate will support the Operational Services Coordinator by coordinating rostering, payroll issues, recruitment, Workcover/QSuper, leave management and staffing concerns. This role may also be required to support other functions within the Operational Services Department as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating rostering, payroll issues, recruitment, Workcover/QSuper, leave management and staffing concerns
  • SUPPORTING PLANNING, COORDINATION, EVALUATION AND MANAGEMENT OF OPERATIONAL SERVICES AT IPSWICH HOSPITAL

Requirements:

  1. High Level Knowledge and Experience Working in Operational Services: The ideal candidate will have a high level of knowledge and experience working in Operational Services, including the use of appropriate techniques and equipment.
  2. Effective Interpersonal Skills: The successful candidate will demonstrate effective interpersonal skills, with the ability to assist lead and manage a multidisciplinary team.
  3. Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills: The candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across a range of electronic mediums.
  4. Experience in Roster Management: The ideal candidate will have experience in roster management, ensuring compliance with industrial instruments and organisational goals.
  5. Vaccination Requirements: Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
