We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Nurses to join our team in providing high-quality care to patients with mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional patient-centered care, focusing on the physical and emotional needs of individuals with mental health disorders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring a cohesive and supportive environment for all patients.
- Provide emotional support and advocacy for patients and their families, promoting a sense of safety and respect within the care setting.
- Foster an inclusive and dignified atmosphere, recognizing the unique needs and experiences of each individual.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in mental health aged care settings is essential.
- Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and night shifts, to accommodate the diverse needs of our patients.
- Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
- National Police Check and Working with Children Check required.
- Fully vaccinated and boosted for Covid-19.
Accommodation:
Provided at no cost, ranging from shared accommodation to one-bedroom apartments or hotel/motels, allowing staff to focus on their role without added financial burden.
Additional Information:
- Minimum 4 weeks contract available, preferably 6-8 weeks, providing stability and consistency for both staff and patients.
- Prioritizing blocks and consistency of nurse placement to ensure seamless care delivery.
