Job Title: Senior Community Leader

We are seeking a seasoned community professional to lead the delivery of strategic communication and stakeholder engagement activities for major infrastructure projects in the development and construction space.

This role is responsible for developing key messaging for community updates, email communications, webpage content, and social media platforms. You will also provide communications advice to project teams and collaborate with stakeholders to understand project status and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement internal and external communication strategies to engage with stakeholders and promote open communication practices.
  2. Provide communications guidance to project teams to develop stakeholder and engagement plans, strategies, and materials.
  3. Collaborate with specialist communication and engagement teams to lead communications and engagement activities for projects.
  4. Facilitate meetings, coordinate events, workshops, and community consultation activities to ensure effective stakeholder engagement.
  5. Coordinate media activities and responses to requests from senior stakeholders, building relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote best practice engagement initiatives.
About You:
  • You possess strong experience in communications and engagement, preferably in a complex government environment or construction, development, or planning sectors.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities, liaise with multiple stakeholders, and be process-driven.
