Quality Assurance Specialist

This role is for a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance specialist to contribute to our External Security Vetting Services team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting Quality Assurance across security clearance assessment cases, ensuring high-quality standards in vetting processes and documentation. They will also help implement and continuously improve our quality assurance processes.

  • Quality Assurance: Conduct ongoing Quality Assurance for determined case loads and clearance levels, aligning to quality expectations and procedures/policies.
  • Quality Assurance Management: Help manage the Quality Assurance case allocation queue, support and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Provide coaching as required based on identified trends from Quality Assurance, and input into training requirements for Vetting Analysts.
  • Complex Case Support: Provide hands-on support for complex cases, using experience and vetting knowledge to enable Vetting Analysts to complete the case.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting: Input into quality reporting and metrics, identifying improvement recommendations to senior management.

Key skills and attributes include:

  • A minimum Negative Vetting Level 1, with the opportunity to upgrade to Negative Vetting 2 as required.
  • Certificate IV in Government (Personnel Security Vetting).
  • Vetting and QA experience in Government or similar high-security environments.
