Ambitious Research Professional Sought for Defence and National Security Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced researcher to join our team in a key role that combines cutting-edge research with strategic collaboration.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading independent and collaborative research projects, developing and executing research aligned with the strategic focus areas of our hub, and building strong research networks within our organisation and with national and local partners.

  • Develop and lead high-impact research projects that significantly advance knowledge and are nationally recognised.
  • Collaborate with experts and partners to deliver innovative research solutions that address complex defence and national security challenges.
  • Build and nurture strong research networks and partnerships to drive research excellence and impact.
Key Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Extensive experience in research leadership and project management.
  • Strong track record of securing and managing research funding from industry and government.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders.
