Ongoing Appointment Opportunity
Academic Level B, C or D Position Available
This is a challenging opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in the fields of security and resilience.
The successful candidate will work alongside leading experts and partners within the Security & Resilience Hub (S&RHub) and the Sir Lawrence Wackett Defence and Aerospace Centre (SLWDAC).
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct high-impact research projects that advance knowledge and are nationally recognised.
Develop and execute research aligned with the S&RHub and SLWDAC strategic focus areas.
Build and nurture strong research networks within RMIT and with national and local partners.
Plan, develop and submit competitive funding proposals to secure defence and national security research funding.
Contribute to the development and delivery of educational programs tailored to both academic and industry needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
PhD or equivalent in a relevant field.
Strong track record of securing and managing research funding.
Ability to build effective networks and generate alternative funding projects.
Demonstrated ability to supervise higher degree by research candidates.
Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver high-quality courses.
