
Retail Consumer Insights Lead

We are seeking a strategic marketing professional to lead our shopper marketing strategy in Petrol & Convenience/Independent Grocery channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including account managers, channel strategists, insights specialists, marketing brand managers, agencies, and customers to understand customer needs and market requirements.
- Drive internal alignment through early stakeholder engagement, brief agencies appropriately, and manage all aspects of each solution.
- Develop and execute commercial activation go-to-market plans that meet required lead times, communicate project expectations clearly, and deliver incremental value.
- Create an 18-month rolling plan with strategic activities based on strong customer, competitor, and market understanding, including validation of brand and channel opportunities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a high-volume, fast-paced consumer goods company or marketing communications agency.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience, including insight into competitor and retailer strategies and activity.
- Expertise in designing and implementing go-to-market strategies that convert brand plans into sales-driving initiatives.
- Sales and customer-facing experience is highly valued.
- Experience with e-commerce and digital marketing is preferred.
