Provide expert legal advice on regulatory matters;Develop and implement new policies and procedures;Conduct research and analysis on complex legal issues;Represent the Agency in court proceedings;Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify and progress compliance and enforcement outcomes;

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Law from an Australian university (or overseas equivalent qualification);
  • Admission to the Supreme Court in your State and the High Court of Australia;
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant post-admission experience as a Principal Lawyer and 5 years as a Senior Lawyer;
  • Extensive experience working in a regulatory context;
  • Expertise in civil litigation and/or workplace relations law;
