Risk Management Professional

RSM Australia is seeking a seasoned Risk Management Professional to join our team in the role of Senior Risk Consultant.
As a key member of our internal audit and controls assurance team, you will be responsible for conducting audits, identifying risks, and implementing control measures to ensure the smooth operation of our clients' businesses.
In this role, you will work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions to address their risk management concerns.
You will have the opportunity to work on various projects, including:
- Conducting internal audits to identify areas for improvement and recommend control measures;
- Developing and implementing risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats;
- Providing guidance and support to junior team members to help them develop their skills and knowledge;
- Collaborating with other teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings;
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A strong understanding of risk management principles and practices;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and colleagues;
- The ability to analyze complex data and develop recommendations for improvement;
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as accounting, finance, or business administration;
- Professional certifications, such as CA, CPA, or CISA, are highly desirable;
