Job Description

As a key member of our administration team, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to the People & Culture (P&C) department. This position involves handling various tasks and responsibilities, including preparing pre-employment contract and variation documentation, processing and monitoring pre-employment background checks, and ensuring accurate recording of employment contracts on Mercury.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Preparing and administering employment contracts, including variations and amendments.
  • Processing and monitoring pre-employment background checks, including police and/or working with children checks and immunisation clearance.
  • Ensuring accurate recording of employment contracts on Mercury and reflecting correctly in the payroll system.
Key Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You should also have experience in providing administrative support, preferably in the area of recruitment and/or human resources.

Desirable qualifications include:

  • Business Administration or Human Resources qualification.
  • Advanced computer skills with demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
