Role Overview

This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Secondary English Education Specialist to join our team in Sydney. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective English lessons to students, developing classroom resources, and contributing to the growth and development of our online courses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach regular weekly classes throughout the academic term and daily classes during the NSW school holidays
  • Develop and maintain high-quality classroom resources to support student learning
  • Publish and maintain Matrix Online English courses to ensure they remain relevant and engaging
  • Assist the English Coordinators with roster management and departmental administration
Requirements
  • A genuine passion for literature and teaching, with a thorough knowledge of the current NESA curriculum in stage 4, 5 and 6 English
  • Previous experience teaching secondary English in a classroom setting, with completed tertiary qualifications in Arts and/or Education
  • Postgraduate qualifications are desirable but not necessary
