We are seeking an experienced Retail Travel Sales Consultant to join our Travel and Experiences team in Geelong. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members and customers, promoting travel products, and converting sales to meet targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote holiday packages, flights, hotels, cruises, tours, experiences, and insurance
  • Assist customers with face-to-face in-store and online service, managing new enquiries, quotes, itineraries, amendments, and cancellations
  • Facilitate domestic and international travel bookings and payments between travellers and suppliers, using Amadeus GDS
  • Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings, cross-selling and up-selling of travel products
  • Manage travel credits, refunds, and changes
  • Attend sales meetings and achieve targets and KPIs
  • Attend industry events, such as supplier and product events, ship inspections, and travel expos
Requirements
  • Travel sales consultant experience in a retail agency environment, essential
  • Certificate 3 in Travel or higher, preferred
  • Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo GDS experience
  • Passion for the travel industry and personal travel experience
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Outstanding organisational, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage workflow, set goals, meet sales targets, and work productively
