The Role

An exciting opportunity to join our dynamic and growing Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) function in our Sydney CBD office. This role will support the FP&A team and other business leaders with ad hoc financial and business analysis, key strategic projects, and report presentations.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the production of the monthly management reporting for the business
  • Drive continuous improvement within the monthly reporting processes and systems, helping establish best practice processes and standards
  • Support the production of the yearly and half-yearly external reporting
  • Issue cost centre reports, including variance analysis, to cost center managers
  • Prepare and analyze account and general ledger reconciliations across the group
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting on the financial activity of business improvement projects
  • Assist with inputs into the forecasting and budgeting process
  • Support the Senior Manager - FP&A with reports and presentations in relation to forecast, budgeting, and strategic projects
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Tax/Law/Commerce/Economics/Finance or related field and is CA/CPA/CIMA qualified
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in financial services
  • Strong business partnering skills and ability to work closely with key stakeholders across all levels, including business unit heads
  • Experience in month-end reporting, financial analysis, budgeting & forecasting, producing annual reports, and investor/results presentations
  • Strong Excel skills and financial modeling and data visualization capabilities
  • Commitment to high standards of client service with a balanced focus on the commercial priorities of the business
