About the Role

The Strategic Financial Planning and Analysis Leader is a key leadership position partnering directly with senior management at Sharp and Carter. This role will partner with a range of business units to provide decision support, analysis, and insights to support the executive team in achieving their strategic ambitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a small team to drive the financial planning and analysis function with profit and loss ownership
  • Contribute to decision making through insights and analysis of key performance drivers
  • Lead the annual budget planning, monthly forecast recommendations, and long-term strategic planning
  • Business Partner with key divisions to build business plans and strategies
  • Influence senior management with the identification of risks and opportunities
  • Prepare timely and accurate management reports
  • Drive process improvement in the finance reporting function
  • Encourage continuous improvement, automation, and implement best practices
  • Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to a high performing team

Requirements

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) / Certified Public Accountant (CPA) / Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) Qualified
  • 5+ years Commercial / Financial Planning and Analysis Manager level experience
  • Excellent communication to liaise with a broad audience
  • Retail, e-commerce, retail manufacturing background preferred
  • SQL experience preferred
  • Strong analytics skills interpreting data and providing recommendations
  • Advanced leadership, coaching, mentoring and development skills
