Job Description

Safran Helicopter Engines Australia seeks a skilled Customer Support Specialist to provide exceptional service to clients in the sales of spare parts, tooling, and accessories. The ideal candidate will efficiently manage customer requirements while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quotation, negotiation, dispatching, and invoicing for spare part sales, repairs, and standard exchanges of accessories
  • Raising tooling rental contracts and managing rentals with the Maintenance Centre
  • Supplying spare parts and accessories for support contracts
  • Liaising with customers and suppliers on order status and forecasts
  • Preparing and liaising with Supply Chain for repair of customer-owned accessories and tooling
  • Monitoring Min/Max level status and inventory control of parts for customers with Supply Chain
  • Tracking and providing follow-up status to customers on equipment sent for repair
  • Processing warranty claims with the Warranty Coordinator
  • Fulfilling customer Aircraft on Ground (AOG) orders, placing AOG orders with Safran Helicopter Engines France or subsidiaries as required, and providing follow-up
  • Participating in Aircraft On Ground (AOG) on-call duty rotation
  • Preparing customer quotations and sales orders as required for Engines & Modules

Requirements

  • Demonstrated minimum 3 years' experience in customer service, ideally in commercial aviation or a high-paced administrative role
  • Prior experience in spare parts industry
  • Understanding of quality systems and airworthiness in the aviation industry
  • Previous experience working under contractual obligations highly regarded
  • Can demonstrate:
    • A highly organised and logical approach followed through with enthusiasm and persistence to ensure customer satisfaction
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven record of developing and maintaining good working relationships within a local and global context
    • Ability to build and maintain superior customer relationships
    • Customer relationship skill set including ability to understand and interpret technical or non-technical customer requirements
    • Sound administrative skills with proven ability to stay organised, tracking jobs/documentation as they progress through the system
    • Demonstrated experience and willingness to follow up enquiries until a satisfactory solution is achieved
    • Commitment to ongoing maintenance of professional standards and development
    • Decisive and self-starting attitude

Estimated Salary: AU$80,000 - AU$110,000 per annum
