Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to fill the role of Provisional Fellow in Anaesthesia. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing anaesthesia services under supervision as part of the basic training program of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance Clinical Skills: Extend your clinical assessment knowledge and skills to manage anaesthesia for common medical conditions of moderate complexity.
  • Provide Quality Care: Deliver anaesthesia, perioperative care and pain management services inside and outside operating rooms at Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospital.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Participate as a multidisciplinary team member across key areas of anaesthetics, including anaesthesia and sedation, regional anaesthesia, airway management, pain medicine and more.

Requirements:

  • Education: MBBS or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: Completed a minimum of three postgraduate years with experience in Anaesthesia and Critical Care.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Able to work in Anaesthesia under supervision and work weekends and after-hours.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
