Web Development Director

Job Title: Technical Lead
We are seeking a seasoned and forward-thinking technical leader to spearhead our web development efforts, oversee the redevelopment of our eCommerce website for an exceptional user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the redevelopment of our eCommerce website using industry-standard technologies like JavaScript and Node.js.
- Manage and mentor in-house developers and coordinate with offshore teams to deliver new features and integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
- Implement best practices in software development and agile methodologies to enhance team productivity.
- Monitor project progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to keep our platform competitive.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Technical Lead or similar role within a retail or fashion environment.
- Strong knowledge of eCommerce platforms, specifically Shopify and BigCommerce.
- Experience managing or leading small development teams, both in-house and offshore.
- Experience in at least one ground-up website build, preferably in the fashion/retail/luxury goods industries.
- Excellent project management skills with a focus on delivering results.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Passion for fashion and a keen eye for detail.
