Clinical Department Leader - Theatres

Our team is seeking a seasoned and passionate Clinical Manager to lead our Perioperative Department with vision, strategy, and commitment.

About the Role
  • Manage a professional team of healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional leadership and management while assuming responsibility for the standard of clinical care and operational performance of the Theatres.
  • Lead by example and foster a culture where interdisciplinary team members can collaborate effectively to positively impact patient outcomes, staff growth, and organisational success.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced leadership capabilities through previous management experience.
  • Exercise critical thinking and ethical decision-making processes in the delivery and coordination of perioperative nursing care.
  • Develop strategic plans and conduct workforce analysis recognising and aiding staff development and job satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Active registration with AHPRA.
  • Tertiary qualification in management/business or related field desirable.
  • Previous Perioperative management experience required.
  • Expertise in Perioperative nursing advantageous.
