Job Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced vocal leader to co-lead our Musical Madness class for children aged 8-18.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop and share your musical theatre knowledge and skills in a fun and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead singing groups for junior and senior students, fostering a love of music and performance.
  • Accompany students on their own instrument, helping them to develop their musical abilities.
  • Develop and implement engaging musical theatre lessons that cater to the needs of students of all ages and abilities.
  • Inspire confidence and creativity in a mixed-age group, encouraging students to reach their full potential.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience teaching group singing to children and teens, with a strong background in musical theatre.
  • Ability to accompany students on their own instrument, with confidence and skill.
  • Good knowledge of musical theatre, including its history, styles, and key works.
Working Conditions:

The position is a maternity cover until further notice, with an immediate start. The class runs on Mondays from 6-7:30 pm in Portobello.
