Electrical Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Compliance Specialist to join our team in Broome, Western Australia.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections on battery and solar electrical installations to ensure they meet the highest safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of battery and solar electrical installations to identify any non-compliance or potential hazards.
  • Utilize an iPad for real-time reporting and compliance tracking to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the field.
  • Lead investigations into serious electrical incidents, including shocks, fires, and non-compliance, under WA's Electricity Licensing Regulations 1991.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A WA Electrical Worker's Licence for Inspector designation.
  • Eligibility to be designated as an Electrical Inspector (Electrical).
  • A strong understanding of Australian Standards, Regulations, and testing and checking procedures.
  • Experience or willingness to complete specialist training in solar and battery inspection, testing, and compliance.
  • Strong proficiency in iPads and mobile reporting systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
