Occupational Therapist Job Opportunity

BaptistCare is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join their team in Wagga Wagga and surrounding area.

This role involves delivering evidence-based assessments and interventions to clients under aged care funding programs, focusing on reablement and restorative care.

The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team that empowers older Australians to live well at home.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions to clients in the community.
  • Develop individualised programs for aged care clients based on their needs.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
  • Registration: Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience: Postgraduate experience working with aged care clients in various settings, including rehabilitation and community care.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in using relevant software and equipment.
