Job Description

Job Title: Store Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead our team at Foot Locker. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and Develop the Team: Coach and motivate your team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales goals.
  • Execute Company Standards: Ensure all aspects of store operations, including recruiting, hiring, training, visual merchandising, and store operations, are executed to the highest standard.
  • Drive Sales Growth: Develop and execute plans to drive key performance indicators and maximize profitability.
  • Enhance Customer Experience: Empower your team to create a natural and personable experience for customers, driving brand loyalty and customer retention.
  • Partner with Customers and Sales Associates: Act as a liaison between customers, sales associates, store leadership, and corporate business partners to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain Visual Directives and Standards: Ensure all visual directives and standards are maintained, including visual merchandising and store appearance.
  • Teach Product Knowledge: Passionately teach associates product knowledge and how to apply their learnings to the customer experience.
Qualifications:
  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated leadership ability with at least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing sales setting.
  • Customer Engagement: Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience.
  • Results-Oriented: Motivated to achieve great results due to enthusiasm from interacting with customers and athletic products.
  • Adaptability: Resourceful and versatile in responding to changing demands and opportunities in a rapidly changing omni-channel retail environment.
  • Cognitive and Mathematical Skills: Strong cognitive and mathematical skills, including problem analysis, decision making, and financial analysis.
  • High Level of Ethics and Integrity: High level of ethics, values, integrity, and trust.
  • Availability: Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
