Accounting Supervisor Role

Join our team of dedicated professionals in this exciting opportunity to develop your skills and work with a multi-disciplinary firm.

As an Accounting Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to a range of client groups, including individuals, partnerships, trusts, and companies.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing financial statements, income tax returns, and general-purpose reports for various entities and industries
  • Conducting tax research and handling general tax administration tasks, including GST, PAYG, BAS, and IAS preparation
  • Servicing a diverse client base, resolving issues and addressing individual client needs
  • Performing journal adjustments, reconciliations, and supporting work papers for clients' accounts
  • Building and maintaining positive and personalised working relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Providing development, coaching, and mentoring opportunities to less experienced team members as required
  • Participating in professional development activities to stay up to date with industry trends and changes in accounting standards

Qualifications and experience:

  • Qualification(s) and/or professional accreditation(s) in a relevant discipline such as Business/Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
  • CA or CPA qualified
  • Demonstrated professional experience in business and tax advisory within a public practice setting
  • Professional, client-focused, and invested in developing into a trusted business advisor
  • Excellent prioritisation, attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills with the ability to adapt in high-pressure situations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
