Job Title: Family-Focused Mental Health Clinician

Job Summary:
Provide assertive and intensive family-focused intervention and short-term care coordination for children, young people, and their families experiencing acute and complex mental health problems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive assessment, collaborative goal setting, and care planning to support clients' mental health needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the CYMHS OSCA team to develop and support best clinical practices associated with assertive outreach services and optimal outcomes for young people and families.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of client needs, developing tailored interventions to address specific challenges.


Requirements:
Recognised degree in psychology, social work, nursing, or occupational therapy; registration with AHPRA or membership to AASW. Demonstrated knowledge and skills in assessing, formulating, and treating child and adolescent mental health problems and family relationship issues.
