Mid-Level Quality Assurance Specialist

The role of a Mid-Level Quality Assurance Specialist involves collaborating with various teams and clients across the full software development lifecycle.

  • This specialist will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise in superannuation and technical support to both internal and external clients.
  • They will participate in User Acceptance Testing by preparing test cases, executing test scripts, documenting outcomes, and managing defect resolution.
  • This includes contributing to incident reviews by identifying root causes, proposing remediation, and updating system or process documentation.
  • Additionally, they will engage in ad hoc and scheduled end-of-year system reviews, legislative updates, and data transitions.
  • Key responsibilities also include collaborating with clients to identify process inefficiencies and propose improvements using industry best practices.
  • This role requires ensuring that all client deliverables meet internal quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • It also involves performing requirements gathering and analysis to support solution design and implementation.
  • This may involve delivering system design specifications, configuration documents, and integration plans.
  • The specialist will configure Apex and related systems to deliver tailored solutions for clients.
  • Preparation and maintenance of technical and user documentation, including training material where required, is another crucial task.
  • This role may also involve contributing to scripting tasks, including Acurity Architect or equivalent within Apex environments.

This mid-level position requires proven experience in a systems or business analyst role within the Australian financial services or superannuation industry.

A strong knowledge of superannuation administration systems, preferably with hands-on experience in Apex, is essential. Experience with Acurity remains advantageous.
