About the Role

The Service Person Driver is a critical link between our branch, customers, and their projects. As a Kennards Hire representative, you will support customers with expert advice, pickups, deliveries, and equipment preparation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Instruct and demonstrate equipment usage to customers.
  • Perform pickups and deliveries, ensuring safe loading and unloading of equipment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service in all interactions.
  • Maintain equipment quality through regular servicing and minor repairs.
  • Clean branch facilities and perform equipment maintenance as required.
  • Conduct equipment 'check in' and 'check out' inspections.

About You

  • Successful applicants come from various backgrounds, including customer service, building and construction, hospitality, retail, driving, landscaping, trade, and maintenance.
  • A valid MR driver's license is preferred but not essential.
  • Availability to work half-day Saturdays on a rotating roster.
  • Physical fitness is required, and the ability to pass a drug test.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Interest in machinery and equipment, with training provided.
  • A positive attitude and team player.
