Job Title: Product Planner

We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee the allocation and creation of robust category plans across all key business metrics.

About the Role:
  • Oversee stock allocation and develop comprehensive product strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in the ranging process.
  • Manage inventory levels to achieve optimal balance, maximize stock turnover, and minimize product markdowns and aged inventory.
  • Implement a just-in-time approach to coordinate delivery flow of stock into our stores.
  • Support the team in managing annual sales and inventory budgets by category, accounting for calculated reforecasts, risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.
  • Analyze trade and inventory performance and productivity.
  • Communicate with stakeholders on delays and impacts on stock or deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a similar role.
  • Sales analysis and forecasting skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar systems.
  • A highly proactive and collaborative approach to work.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent numeracy and communication skills.
  • Ability to innovate, ask questions, and assert yourself when necessary.
  • Quick learner.
