
Principal Construction Lawyer

A leading infrastructure company seeks a highly skilled Legal Counsel to join their in-house legal team, advising on major projects across Australia and New Zealand.
- This is a hands-on role that offers the opportunity to work across the full project lifecycle, from pre-contract through to delivery.
- Advise on a broad range of contract models, including D&C, EPC, lump sum, target cost, cost reimbursable, alliances, frameworks and joint ventures.
The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation and drafting skills, with experience working on front-end construction and infrastructure projects. They will also have excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior executives, delivery teams and clients.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a qualified lawyer to take on a visible, career-defining role, partnering with executives and clients to influence strategy and manage risk. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to step into a leadership position and contribute to compliance frameworks and risk management initiatives across the business.
