Lead Distiller and Brewer Position

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Lead Distiller and Brewer. This position offers a unique opportunity for a skilled individual to join our team and contribute to the success of our beverage manufacturing operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our distillation and brewing facilities, ensuring that production goals, quality standards, and timelines are met. Additionally, they will work closely with our sales team to develop new products and recipes, as well as ensure regulatory compliance and record keeping for excise, storage, and production processing.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial distillation and brewing, with experience in management, food technology, science, engineering, or a related field. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong leadership and team-building abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of distillation and brewing facilities
  • Work closely with sales team to develop new products and recipes
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and record keeping for excise, storage, and production processing
  • Drive research and development of spirits, beer, and other products
  • Review and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial distillation and brewing
  • Qualifications in Management, Food Technology, Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Brewing/Distilling sciences qualification (IBD or tertiary equivalent)
  • Proven track record in developing and scaling new products
