Install Coordinator Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Install Coordinator to join our gallery team.

The successful applicant will possess strong technical skills and knowledge of art installation best-practices, as well as professional art installation experience.

  • Installing artworks in a professional and timely manner is a key responsibility of this role.
  • Working closely with artists to ensure high-quality visual outcomes is essential for success.
  • Assisting with exhibition setup and strike is also an important aspect of the job.

This is a casual position offering up to 55 days per year, with hours organised around install schedules (every 6 weeks) plus flexible floating days in-between.

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Need:

  • Essential: Strong technical skills and knowledge of art installation best-practices.
  • Essential: Professional art installation experience.
  • Essential: Current Australian driver's License.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of current Australian contemporary art practice.
  • Desirable: Experience producing exhibitions or exhibiting in a gallery.
