Job Title

A Home Lending Officer role exists for a professional who can drive financial inclusion and economic empowerment with Indigenous Australians.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of Indigenous economic empowerment by supporting the delivery of innovative initiatives that enhance customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise and communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff and customers.
  • Analyse client eligibility for loan products and services, developing well-considered loan scenarios and submissions.
  • Work effectively as a team member under limited supervision and manage the team when necessary.
  • Support the delivery of innovative initiatives that enhance customer outcomes.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Awareness and understanding of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander societies and culture.
  • Good knowledge of and recent experience in Home or business lending, end-to-end loan assessment and loan arrears follow up.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
