Senior Finance Advisor

Join The State Of Queensland in a challenging and rewarding role as a Senior Finance Advisor. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of the Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program (QTRIP).
About the RoleThe Senior Finance Advisor will provide high-level advice and guidance to the district, ensuring effective financial management, project controls, and administration in collaboration with Program Support's customers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and enable a multi-functional finance and project support team, ensuring skills set and training needs are identified and developed to support delivery of the QTRIP program.
- Provide advice on District financial business planning and budgeting and undertake regular financial monitoring, reviewing the delivery of key performance measures and subsequent reporting.
- Provide regular reporting and analysis of the District's performance in terms of expenditure, FTE and activity, identifying and explaining any relevant variances.
- A current Class 'C' Drivers Licence
- Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
