We are seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join our Central Queensland team. As a key member of our HSEQ team, you will play a critical role in implementing and maintaining our Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) programs and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in enhancing health, safety, environment, and quality management plans, strategies, policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Conduct regular on-site assessments to ensure HSEQ best practices are followed.
- Provide HSEQ training, toolbox talks, and promote a positive safety culture among staff.
- Identify improvement opportunities, assist in developing solutions, and work with teams to implement them.
- Monitor and report on HSEQ metrics and assist in communications with regulatory agencies and senior management.
- Promote adherence to Kinetic's HSEQ Management Systems and risk controls.
- Assist in the incident and risk management processes, including timely reporting, investigation, corrective action closure, and knowledge sharing across the group.
- Support the local Continuous Improvement Committee in monitoring and reporting on HSEQ performance within the business unit.
- Assist in preparing for and supporting third-party audits and certifications.
- Cert IV in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Knowledge of applicable WHS legislation.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Strong integrity with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and agile environment.
- Strong computer literacy, MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
