Lead Marine Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chief Engineer to join our team. As the head of the Engineer Department, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all machinery and electrical equipment.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering and excellent leadership skills. They will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all shipboard equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 12 months' experience as a First Engineer
- A valid AMSA Marine Order 72 certification
- A MSIC Card or ability to obtain one
- A current AMSA Medical certificate
